I went here with friends for a dinner tonight. Overall, good service, very kind and helpful staff, mid food, small portions, nice vibe, can reserve a table. I ordered the beef udon and edamame and ate a piece of the pork gyoza my friend ordered udon - hot, bit too sweet, bit of a honey taste, beef is a bit tough, smaller than expected portion size, egg is soft, beef has slightly smoky, udon noodle is soft and nicely cooked. the more I drank the udon soup more the sweetness became sickening. ⭐️⭐️ edamame: more than double the price of downtown grocer edamame for like 100g is given here, few of it is flat and doesnt have a pod in it. Not much to be said, it's just edamame⭐️⭐️⭐️ pork gyoza - looks hard and slightly burnt, small, slightly garlicy, reminds me of shrimp dumplings from costco. ⭐️⭐️ staff and overall vibe: easy to talk, staff were very friendly and helped created a lovely environment. Nice lighting and space. Had a bathroom too. Cozy interior. Staff helped us with all our questions and they were the peak of the night

Cozy restaurant located in Hawthorn, an absolute bang for your buck. The whole vibe of the place is very inviting and is a great place for affordable lunch or dinner options. The service was great too. Will definitely be back to try some of their other stuff.

I came here for lunch with a friend and was pleasantly surprised! The Wagyu Tadaki that we ordered was absolutely to die for and everything was flavourful and delicious. The price was extremely reasonable as well. We will definitely be back!!
